Information for international students
If you want to become a full-time student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, don't forget one important thing – ENROLMENT.
Enrolment will take place from 1st to 8th September 2026 in person at the study department of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Upon enrolment, you will receive the enrolment confirmation, ID number and password to AIS (Academic Information System).
What do you need to bring with you to be enrolled?
- Decision on recognition of equivalence of documents - Nostrification from the Regional Office of School Administration or Clause on recognition of foreign education degree together with a certified copy and translation of the school-leaving certificate (Apostilla) in paper form and confirmation from the EDBO document register (if you have not already delivered it by mail)
- Certified translation of grades from the last year of high school (if you have not already delivered them by mail).
- Copy of the identity document of the applicant
- If the student is under 16 at the time of enrollment
- Statement and granting of consent of legal representatives to legal acts of a minor
- Authorization to represent minor applicants - certified copy
How can I apply for dormitory accomodation?
Don't forget to apply for accommodation. The application for dormitory must be submitted electronically between 10th June and 15th July 2026. Read how to proceed.
Accommodation is allocated based on availability and a ranking list according to students' secondary school academic results.
In accordance with the amendment to the Accommodation Regulations of the student dormitories of the Slovak University of Technology (STU) in Bratislava, it applies that a student who has not yet reached the age of 17 as of September 1 of the relevant academic year will not be provided with accommodation in the accommodation facilities of the STU in Bratislava. A minor student may submit an electronic application for accommodation through the accommodation system; however, they will appear on the waiting list of accommodation applicants of the relevant faculty only on the day they reach the age of 17. Only from that date may the faculty or the Accomodation Department allocate accommodation to them.

Don't leave it to the last minute and enrol by 30 June 2026. You don't have to enrol in person. Our study department will do the enrolment for you and send you the enrolment confirmation, ID number and password to AIS (Academic Information System).

What do you need to deliver in order for us to enrol you?
- Consent to enrolment without physical presence
- A certified copy of your school leaving certificate (in case you haven't delivered it yet)
- A certified copy of your certificate from final year of high school (in case you haven't delivered it yet)
