Within the framework of the EULiST project, the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava organized the EULiST Doctoral Training Event, held from 10–12 June 2026, with the participation and support of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Brno University of Technology. The target units and doctoral schools were the Department of Materials Engineering and Physics - study programme: Building Technology with a focus on Materials Engineering and Building Physics, guarantor: Prof. Stanislav Unčík and the Institute of Technology of Building Materials and Components - study programme: Physical and Building Materials Engineering, guarantor: Prof. Rostislav Drochytka.
The event brought together doctoral researchers, academics, and experts from different disciplines to exchange knowledge and discuss topics related to Responsible AI, Sustainability, Green Innovation, and Interdisciplinary Research. The programme combined expert lectures, round-table discussions, networking activities, and presentations focused on responsible generative AI in academia, sustainable construction, decarbonization strategies, and innovative approaches to environmental monitoring.
The event provided a stimulating environment for academic dialogue, interdisciplinary cooperation, and the development of new professional connections. Participants had the opportunity to share experiences, explore current research challenges, and discuss future perspectives in sustainable and responsible innovation.
The Doctoral EULiST Event proved to be an inspiring and forward-looking initiative, highlighting the importance of international collaboration in doctoral education and research. The successful meeting created favourable conditions for the development of future joint activities, research projects, mobility opportunities, and continued cooperation among EULiST partners.
