On May 14, 2026, the international round of the Student Scientific and Professional Activity (ŠVOČ) was held at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Žilina in Žilina. Students from Slovak and Czech technical universities presented their work to expert committees across ten sections. A total of 84 students with 77 competition projects participated in the event, and the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava was represented by 18 students and 16 projects.
Our students achieved remarkable success, earning 9 awards: 4 first places, 1 second place, 1 third place, and 3 in the student-voting category.
- Filip Fečo – 1st place in the Building Construction and Architecture section + winner of the student vote
- Bc. Ondrej Jurkovič – 1st place in the Transport Construction section
- Bc. Kristián Soják – 2nd place in the Structural Mechanics section
- Bc. Zuzana Klačková – winner of the student vote in the Geotechnics section
- Bc. Šimon Kovaľ and Bc. Miroslava Moncmanová – 1st place in the Building Services and Building Energy section
- Bc. Viktória Véghová – 1st place + winner of the student vote in the Urban, Landscape and Environmental Engineering section
- Janka Diana Kosnáčová and Bc. et Bc. Samuel Klimík – 3rd place in the Urban, Landscape and Environmental Engineering section
