The 10th International Conference on Materials Sciences and Nanomaterials ICMSN 2026 took place in London from July 1 to 4, 2026. The Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava was represented by MSc. Artem Chystiakov, PhD., a researcher in the Department of Materials Engineering and Physics at FCE STU, who received the Best Presentation Award for his conference contribution.
The presented work focused on Sustainable Geopolymer Concrete Composites Based on Aluminosilicate By-products. The research was conducted as part of the research team led by Ing. Michal Slaný, PhD., whose work at the faculty focuses on developing geopolymers for environmental and engineering applications. Receiving the award at an international forum confirms the relevance and promising potential of the research conducted at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of STU, as well as the author's excellent presentation skills.
