For academic year 2021/2022 we will accept all students without an entrance exam.

All applicants who finished their studies abroad have to have their documents recognised. The full process of recognition is described here.

It is permitted to send just one application form, but you may apply for more study programs. The first study program is always the priority (the application fee will not change)

The application form may be submitted in a paper form or electronically.

Notes for the E- Application form

The system will generate your individual variable symbol. Add your name and an abbreviation of the study program you applied for to the notice for the beneficiary.

Additional documents for the Application form:

• signed curriculum vitae,
• certified grades from high school report (in e- application form) and certified copies of high school reports with Apostille/Superlegalization,
• certified copy of high school leaving report with Apostille/Superlegalization,
• nostrification of high school leaving report,
• conversion of marks from study on secondary schools abroad,
• the confirmation of the payment of the application fee.

Conditions of acceptance

The basic condition of acceptance is successful graduation from a high school.

Students who cannot vindicate the fulfilment of this condition until May 11th, 2021 or August 19th, 2021 will be admitted conditionally.

They have to vindicate all of their documents at the latest by the day of their study registration.

Study program taught in English: Civil Engineering

Graduates in this Bachelor's level program study and learn in the English language. Graduates acquire a complete first-degree university education with a specialization in civil engineering that covers a broad spectrum of construction professions with a focus on the theoretical and practical aspects of the construction of buildings and engineering and hydraulic structures. Graduates understand the basic theoretical principles and procedures for the construction of various types of buildings.  Graduates have knowledge of construction materials. The core of the specialized subjects relate to issues concerning civil engineering structures. Graduates are able to design simple structures and present their own solutions for technological and economic problems related to the construction of various kinds of structures. Graduates are prepared for second-degree programs of study or to enter the labour market. There is an opportunity for students to improve their communication skills for the domestic environment through classes in the Slovak language during their first year.
