Required documents for applying*
Documents required in English language:
- signed curriculum vitae,
- confirmation of the application fee payment,
- a document (certificate) confirming knowledge of the English language at least at the B1 level or passing the high school graduation exam in the English language.
Officially translated documents in English language:
- certified copies of secondary school reports,
- certified copy of secondary school leaving report.
All applicants who finished their studies abroad have to have their documents recognised. The full process of recognition is described here.
* Some administration processes can take up to 60 days to be issued, therefore prepare your documents in advance.
For the purposes of this text, “certification” shall mean one of the following:
- certification of a document by a notary public,
- certification of a document by a municipal authority,
- certification of a document by a higher education institution.

- certified copy of state exam certificate and transcript of records of the state exam,
- certified copy of transcript of records of all passed exams from previous studies.

Additional information regarding the submission of applications:
- a medical certificate is not required,
- proof of completion of the previous level of study is not required to be certified for applicants who have completed their bachelor’s degree at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava,
- the transcript of records is not required to be certified for applicants who have completed their bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.

- list of published vocational and scientific (artistic) works (if applicable),
- confirmation of the application fee payment.
Documents required with official translation in English language:
- certified Master diploma with a state exam certificate and a diploma supplement,
- transcript of records of all passed exams from previous studies (bachelor’s and master’s programme).
