Our graduate profile
Concrete is the most widely used material in load-bearing structures, and concrete structures constitute the major part of all building structures. Therefore, Civil Engineering graduates should not only have knowledge of static and dynamic analysis, planning, designing and construction of structures, but also broad knowledge of concrete, its manufacturing, and its physical and mechanical properties. These findings are important so that a Civil Engineering graduate can obtain a comprehensive overview of the design of load-bearing concrete structures, including modern construction materials such as high-performance cement composites, composite structures and hybrid structures. Considering the high degree of development in industrial countries, the importance of knowledge in the field of reconstruction of buildings, bridges and other civil engineering structures is increasing.
