The Information Technology Centre is a department of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at STU, which provides IT services to students, staff and departments within the faculty. Our role is to ensure the reliable operation of information technology, provide technical support to users and develop the faculty’s digital environment. We provide students with access to computer labs, network services, wireless connectivity, educational software and other technologies that support their studies. For staff, we manage workstations, user accounts, information systems and software licences, and provide specialist technical support in addressing day-to-day IT requirements. CIT also manages the faculty’s data and server infrastructure, contributes to ensuring cyber security, and supports modern forms of face-to-face, hybrid and online teaching. Our aim is to provide high-quality and accessible IT services that contribute to effective teaching, research and work at the faculty. |
