Research focus
Numerical calculations are part of both scientific and professional works. Nonlinear analysis using the finite element method often supports experimental tests in the laboratory, while expanding the number of analyzed results also with the help of parametric studies. Linear calculation models are used in verifying the behaviour of existing structures. They are mainly linked to the area of monitoring and evaluation of existing structures. The software Atena and Sofistik are used for nonlinear analysis. For linear calculations Scia Engineer, Strap and Sofistik.
