Research focus
- The research focuses on two areas of application of recycled materials for the production of load-bearing concrete. The first is the use of recycled steel fibres (RSF) as a replacement for conventional materials in concrete. The second is the use of recycled aggregate from concrete (RCA) and recycled aggregate from masonry and mixed structures (RA).
 - The application of RSF as a replacement for industrial steel fibres is carried out both at the level of material research and on structural elements to increase the shear resistance of elements without shear reinforcement, and research focused on the long-term properties of concrete with a content of RSF, which examines the durability of structural elements exposed to environmental influences that cause corrosion of steel reinforcement.
