The year 2025 represented a significant milestone in the history of the seminar and was an opportunity to evaluate the achievements and challenges we have overcome together. It was also a view into the future, which requires new approaches, innovations, and collaborative efforts that are an integral part of modern road construction in changing conditions—from research and technical development to sustainable solutions in planning and construction.
The seminar offered inspiring lectures, interesting insights, and valuable meetings between experts from different countries. We believe that the seminar provided not only valuable information, but also inspiration for further steps forward in our collaborative efforts to achieve safe and high-quality road infrastructure.
The event provided a space for expert discussion on current issues and challenges facing us today.
The seminar in honor of Mr. Ivan Poliaček, a prominent educator and expert in road construction, as well as a leading official of the Slovak Road Society, is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport of the Slovak Republic and the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at STU in Bratislava, Prof. Ing. Stanislav Unčík, PhD.
